EXCITING NEWS--CARDBOARD RECYCLING IS RETURNING
Abitibi Recycling is now offering Cardboard and Phone Book recycling.  The cardboard and phone books go in paper recycling bins.  This is just a trial period.  If  boxes are found not broken down and cardboard is found laying on the ground outside the bins, violators will be prosecuted and this service will be discontinued.  Please do not put pizza boxes etc from food where food particles are still inside.  Those are considered trash and should be disposed of with your regular trash at home.

NEWSPAPER RECYCLING
You may have noticed the new newspaper recycling bins.  The township will now receive money based on the volume of paper we recycle.  Please do your part in recycling and at the same time improve your community.  The trustees have decided to put the money that is received back into the community by using the funds for park improvements.  The money is not a lot but if everyone recycles it will make a difference.  They are also accepting magazines, catalogs, business type papers, envelopes, junk mail, phone books, and cardboard.
