The Hambden Township Trustees met in Regular Session at the Hambden Townhall on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at 6:30 p.m. with the following members present:  Keith McClintock, Edward Kaminski and Nadine Pope.  Also in attendance was Fiscal Officer, Laura Chorman, Administrative Assistant, Mary Ann Dottore and those on the attached sign in sheet. 

Chairman McClintock called the Regular Meeting to order with the Pledge of Allegiance at 6:30 p.m.

Mr. McClintock asked if any residents had any questions or concerns to bring before the Board.  There were none.

MINUTES
Mr. McClintock asked the Board if there were any corrections or changes to the minutes of the Regular meeting of February 17, 2010.  There were no changes requested and Mrs. Pope made a motion to accept the minutes and waive their reading.

ZONING INSPECTOR
Zoning Inspector, Darlene Welch submitted to the Board her activity report covering the period of February 17, 2010 through February 28, 2010.  A copy of the activity report and verbal report are attached for review. 

Mr. McClintock recommended that the compliance date on the zoning violation of junk vehicles on Chardon Windsor Road should be extended to the end of May 2010 when a tow truck would be able to reach the "junk" vehicles and not damage the yard in the process.  If the vehicles are not removed by the end of May 2010, legal action will be taken.  Assistant Prosecutor, Susan Weiland will be contacted in regards to the best option for removal of the vehicles.

ZONING

Mr. McClintock reported that the Zoning Commission met on Monday, March 1, 2010 and continues working on rewrites of various sections of the Hambden Township Zoning Resolution. 

Helen Scheuring reported that Richard Acquviva is doing a great job working on the commercial redistricting project. 

The April Zoning Commission meeting has been re-scheduled for Monday, April 12th.

Mr. McClintock reported that the Northeast Ohio Watershed Council is holding a "Stormwater Problems are Real… and So Are the Solutions" seminar on Wednesday, March 24, 2010.  This workshop is free and open to the public.  This seminar fits the recommendation for public education in the Hambden Land Use Plan.  More information will be available on the Hambden Township website and a copy of the flier will be posted on the town hall door.
   
FIRE DEPARTMENT
Chief Hildenbrand submitted to the Board and audience the monthly incident report for February listing 36 calls.  A copy is attached for review.
