Mrs. Chorman reported that the Bureau of Worker's Compensation performed their audit of the township records on February 23, 2010. The audit lasted approximately 10 minutes and a $300 refund is due.
Mrs. Chorman reported that the 1099's have been electronically submitted to the IRS.
ROADS Mr. Kaminski reported that Robbie Halford called to thank the road department for the awesome job they did moving snow from the cul-de-sac on Big Creek Ridge. The Zona family sent a thank you note in regards to the great job the road department did on re-installing their mailbox that was knocked down by the snow.
Mr. Kaminski reported that the Indiana Turnpike Commission had ordered new plow trucks in 2009 and found that the funds were not available when delivery time arrived. Hambden Township could purchase one of the truck chassis' from Miami Valley International for $69,669 and the snow equipment package from Concord Road Equipment for $71,528.59 bringing the cost to $141,197.59 vs. $169,000 for a 2011 model. This truck includes a heavier frame, larger dump and heavier suspension than what we would order. RESOLUTION 2010-013 made by Edward Kaminski, seconded by Nadine Pope to approve the purchase of the 2009 chassis from Miami Valley International for $69,669. Upon call of roll: Mrs. Pope- yes, Mr. Kaminski- yes and Mr. McClintock - yes. Motion carried. RESOLUTION 2010-014 made by Edward Kaminski, seconded by Nadine Pope to approve the purchase of the snow equipment package from Concord Road Equipment for $71,528.59 and include the tailgate for an additional $200-$300. Mr. Kaminski reported that he received the County Engineer's preliminary estimate of $130,000 for the proposed asphalt resurfacing of Bascom Road. RESOLUTION 2010-015 made by Edward Kaminski, seconded by Nadine Pope to proceed with the asphalt resurfacing project of Bascom Road. Upon call of roll: Mrs. Pope- yes, Mr. Kaminski- yes and Mr. McClintock - yes. Motion carried.

Upon call of roll: Mrs. Pope- yes, Mr. Kaminski- yes and Mr. McClintock - yes. Motion carried. TOWNHALL Mrs. Pope reported that Douglas Kramer of d.a.k. Architecture will be sending his AIA contract for replacement of the front stairs of the old town hall as agreed upon. He has assured Mrs. Pope that the structural engineer's charge will not exceed $50. After the AIA contract is received, it will be sent to Assistant Prosecutor, Susan Weiland for review and approval.
