Conditions for Use



Use is to be scheduled by Trustee currently in charge of township hall or Township Clerical Assistant.

Use will be granted only to Hambden residents.  Proof of residency is required.  A copy of your driver's license                                will be taken at time of key being picked up and both the deposit and rental fee checks dropped off.

Use will be granted based on availability and at the discretion of the Board of Township Trustees.

All organizations, with the exception of official Hambden Township boards, are required to complete and sign the Agreement for use of the Township Hall.

The building will be left in the condition which it was found and all rubbish is the responsibility of those using the township hall and
must be removed and taken with those using the hall.  Use of school or park dumpster is prohibited.  The floors must be swept and if needed, washed.

A clean up charge of $25.00 will be assessed to anyone leaving the township hall in such condition that it is necessary for township employees to clean up or remove trash that has been left behind. 

No alcoholic beverages, smoking or animals shall be permitted on the premises.

Hambden Township will not be held responsible for accident or injury while the premises are in use.

Use of township hall shall not be for commercial business of any kind.

No adhesives of any kind can be used on the walls of the township hall. (i.e. tape, tacks or glue) 

Use of kitchen is restricted to the stove, microwave, sink and refrigerator.  All other items and appliances are not to be used.  They are the property of the employees. 

When leaving the hall after your event, please close the door to the kitchen and the town hall as these are fire doors and are to remain closed whenever not in use.
